White copper is a copper-based alloy with nickel as the main additive element. It appears silvery white with a metallic luster, hence the name white copper. Copper and nickel can form an infinite solid solution with each other, resulting in a continuous solid solution, meaning that regardless of the proportion, it always remains a single-phase alloy. When nickel is melted into red copper D200, and the content exceeds 16%, the resulting alloy color becomes relatively silvery white. The higher the nickel content, the whiter the color. However, since it is fused with copper, as long as the nickel content does not exceed 70%, the yellow color of copper will be visible to the naked eye. Moreover, the nickel content in typical white copper is generally around 25%. White copper is an elegant term for copper-nickel alloys, with a density between that of copper and nickel, ranging from 8.9 to 8.88. Nickel white copper (also called foreign white copper) is one such type.
